White dials are rarer than black ones across the Moonwatch range I've catalogued, and they read completely differently on the wrist — better contrast against the printed chronograph scales, worse at hiding wear on the subdials over time. This version trades the historically correct hesalite crystal for sapphire, which costs you a little authenticity but gains genuine scratch resistance day to day. Steel case, 42mm, caliber 3861 hand-wound column-wheel chronograph underneath, 50m water resistance — mechanically identical to the rest of the manual lineup. If I were scoring purely for a watch that still looks new in five years, this is the Moonwatch configuration I'd point to first.
