Planet Ocean's whole reason for existing is the 600m rating, double the 300M line I've spent most of this catalogue on, and that number is engineering headroom almost nobody will use rather than a real functional need. More interesting on this reference is the 39.5mm case — smaller than Planet Ocean traditionally runs, which makes it wear closer to the 300M than to the larger Planet Oceans I've measured, while still carrying the deeper rating. Same Summer Blue gradient dial as the 300M anniversary piece, same Master Chronometer caliber 8800, same single date window. If proportions matter more to you than the depth number, this is the more wearable of the two 75th-anniversary watches.
