The fixed 24-hour hand and bezel on the Explorer II are one of the few complications I'd call genuinely functional rather than decorative — actual day/night and second-time-zone tracking, not just a number to charge a premium for. This 226570-0001 is 42mm steel with a white dial, $13,150, still 100m rated like the rest of the Explorer line. On my utility-per-complication axis it scores well above most GMTs I've catalogued, because you read it in one glance instead of doing bezel math. It's a genuine step up from the 40mm Explorer if you actually need the extra function.
