Caliber 321 is the movement Omega spent years re-engineering from scratch to match the original 1957-63 architecture, and it's a genuinely different mechanical object from the 1861/3861 family running the rest of the Moonwatch line — different column wheel, different horizontal clutch, different sound when it ticks. At 39.7mm in steel, this sits closer to the vintage proportions than the modern 42mm case. The small seconds is off-center rather than a symmetrical three-register layout, a direct carryover from the historic dial design. Fifty meters of water resistance. On my movement-quality axis this scores above every other Moonwatch reference I've catalogued — it's the one built to prove a point, not just sell a watch.
