Titanium case, tantalum bracelet, 2,500 pieces made — this is the material-innovation entry in the 300M catalogue, and the combination matters more than the limited number on the caseback. Titanium keeps the 42mm case meaningfully lighter than the steel or gold builds I've logged from this line, while tantalum is denser and harder-wearing than steel, so the bracelet doesn't inherit titanium's lightness — a deliberate weight and hardness contrast between case and strap rather than a matched set. No date, no chronograph, just the grey dial and caliber 8806, at the same 300m depth rating as the rest of the family. Scarcity aside, the materials alone justify a separate line on my sheet.
