Heritage 44GS

The 44GS case shape is Grand Seiko's Grammar of Design touchstone — flat facets, sharp bevels catching light like a cut gem — and Ever-Brilliant steel is their harder, more corrosion-resistant alloy, which matters more on a case with this many polished planes to scratch. At 40mm with 100m of water resistance, it's sized for daily wear, and the light glacier-blue dial gives the faceted hour markers more to reflect than a plain white face would. No GMT here, just the Hi-Beat manufacture caliber the case was designed to showcase. This is a case-and-metallurgy story more than a complications one.
