Same 38mm case and caliber 3330 automatic column-wheel chronograph as the diamond-set version, minus the stone-set markers and the price premium that comes with them — this is the more rational entry point into the smaller Speedmaster case size. Black dial, steel bracelet, a hundred meters of water resistance, which is double what most manual Moonwatch references offer. On my value-per-dollar axis this scores considerably better than the 42mm chronographs specifically because you're getting the same column-wheel movement architecture in a smaller, less expensive package. It's the Speedmaster I'd suggest first to someone whose wrist simply can't carry 42mm.
