Steel-and-gold is a polarizing choice, and I score it accordingly on my proportions axis — it works on this 41mm case because the gold stays confined to the bezel insert and bracelet links rather than swallowing the whole watch. The GMT hand and black dial carry over unchanged from the all-steel references, so the functional case for this watch is identical; what changes is who it's for. At 200m water resistance with an in-house automatic movement, it's mechanically the same proposition as its steel siblings — the premium here is entirely materials and presentation, not performance. Judge it on taste, not spec sheet.
