Pelagos

Titanium is the reason the Pelagos sits differently in my database than most dive watches at 39mm — the case material shaves enough weight that wrist presence and long-wear comfort scores move independently of the size number, a distinction my measurements don't always capture. 200 meters of water resistance and an in-house automatic movement built by Tudor put it solidly in tool-watch territory rather than sport-lifestyle, and the black dial does exactly what a black dial should: get out of the way of legibility. Against everything else I've catalogued at this size, it's one of the few where the spec sheet undersells how it actually wears.
