Same Jeux Olympiques case architecture, different material story: ref. 52253402004002 moves the 39.5mm case into 18k white gold, with a white dial and a black leather strap standing in for the usual steel bracelet. No bezel, no date window this time — just the case, the dial, and the movement finishing that the gold is there to frame. Water resistance holds at 60m, the same ceiling as the steel version, so the gold case buys you material and heft, not extra durability. On the value-per-dollar axis this is exactly where precious-metal Seamasters always land in my scoring: the material cost outruns the mechanical upgrade, you're paying for the case, not the caliber.
