A classic speed-focused chronograph that captures the spirit of space exploration. Its distinct two-tone finish adds a touch of elegance, making it as versatile as it is functional.
Sedna gold is Omega's proprietary rose alloy, engineered to resist the color-fading that plagues ordinary rose gold over years of wear — worth knowing before you write off the premium as pure branding. This 42mm Moonwatch pairs it with a gold-toned dial and a solid 18k bracelet, which is a different proposition from the bicolor steel-and-gold combinations elsewhere in the range: more precious metal on the wrist, more weight, more cost. Caliber 3861 underneath is the same hand-wound column-wheel movement as the rest of the manual Moonwatch family. Fifty meters of water resistance, unchanged from steel. It's one of the warmer-toned Speedmasters I've catalogued, and it wears accordingly heavier.
