6000m of water resistance is the number that matters here — not 600, not 60, six thousand meters, on a watch you can actually put on a normal-sized wrist at 45mm. That figure exists because of the Ploprof's original 1970s brief: a case built for commercial saturation divers, with a locking bezel-crown system that has nothing to do with everyday styling and everything to do with a diver not being able to accidentally knock the crown loose at depth. Rubber strap, steel case, Summer Blue dial — Omega hasn't tried to soften any of that architecture for this reissue, which I respect more than a diplomatically resized remake. It's the single highest depth rating in anything I've catalogued from this brand, by a wide margin.
