Author POV

This is the priciest Planet Ocean in my Seamaster notes, and the €24,500 tag isn't really about the GMT function — Omega has cheaper ways to add a second time zone. It's the dark grey ceramic case at 45.5mm that's driving the number, ceramic construction being one of the more expensive things to machine at this scale without hairline cracking. The grey dial keeps the whole piece tonal rather than contrasty, which reads as deliberately restrained for a watch at this price point. 600m is standard-issue for the line at this point, not a selling point in itself. If GMT function and ceramic case-making are both on your list of things worth paying for, this is where they intersect.
