The Tentagraph is Grand Seiko's first real in-house chronograph, and at 43.2mm in titanium it's also the largest case I've catalogued from this brand by a clear margin — a deliberate break from the sub-39mm dress pieces that dominate their manual-wind lineup. Automatic, Hi-Beat, blue dial on a titanium bracelet: this is Grand Seiko building for wrist presence and daily-wear robustness rather than heritage restraint. It reads as a different design brief entirely, aimed at someone who wants a serious chronograph complication, not a quiet dress watch. On proportions and legibility it scores well; on subtlety, it deliberately gives that up.
