White dials are rare on dive watches for a reason — most brands assume low-light legibility matters more than daylight contrast, so black wins by default — but the America's Cup edition bets the other way, and on a boat in open sun it's arguably the more legible choice, not less. Same 42mm steel case and bracelet as the standard 300M, same 300m rating, same single date window; the dial color does all the differentiating work here. White dials score lower on my sheet for low-light legibility and higher for daytime contrast, which tells you exactly which conditions this piece was designed around.
