Leather instead of the usual steel bracelet changes the wearing experience noticeably: lighter on the wrist, but needs more care and won't survive daily water exposure the way a bracelet does. Red leather against white mother-of-pearl is a deliberately colorful pairing that scores well on my 'personality' axis, though it narrows the outfits it pairs cleanly with. Worth trying on before buying, since strap color is the one variable here photographs undersell.
