A contemporary take on retro design with a distinctive tonneau shape. The harmonious green dial contrasts beautifully with the polished case for a striking presence on the wrist.
The tonneau case is the entire argument for the Evidenza — Longines built its Art Deco identity around this shape, and at 26mm by 30.6mm it reads distinctly rectangular on the wrist rather than round, rare enough in current production to stand out in my case-shape axis. The green dial with date window and manufacture automatic movement sit on a leather strap, and the 30m water resistance confirms this is unambiguously a dress watch, not something to test near water. What I appreciate is the restraint: no unnecessary sub-dials competing with the tonneau silhouette, just clean hands and hour markers doing their job.
