Heritage Snowflake

Snowflake is the dial finish Grand Seiko is best known for outside enthusiast circles, and this 33mm quartz version is the most compact way to own it — the white textured surface catching light the way packed snow does, which is genuinely harder to reproduce well than most brands' attempts at texture dials suggest. Steel case, 100m of water resistance, no date window cluttering the dial: it's a small, quiet watch built around one signature detail rather than a list of complications. On texture and finishing, this scores well above what I'd expect at a compact size like this.
