Strip away the special-edition dial colors and this is the FXD in its plainest form — black dial, titanium case at 42mm, 200m water resistance, no date, no complications competing for space. That absence of a date window is deliberate on the FXD case, not an oversight: fixed spring bars and a minimal dial are the whole design brief here, built for reading time at a glance under stress rather than for daily-wear convenience features. The green-and-red strap is the only flourish on an otherwise no-frills tool. On my axes this scores near the top for legibility and low-glare readability, with versatility deliberately sacrificed.
