1000m is the number that separates this from the rest of the Pelagos line, and it's not a marketing figure — that depth rating demands a case architecture with almost no tolerance for weak points, which is why Tudor ships it with both a titanium bracelet and a rubber strap. 43mm in titanium keeps it wearable despite the engineering overhead, and the date function is the only complication allowed to compete with legibility. On my axes this scores at the very top for water resistance and build robustness, though it gives up a little on everyday versatility — a tool built for one job, to an extreme standard.
