The rose gold moonphase closes out this PrimaLuna range at the top of the price ladder for good reason — reference L81265717 combines a precious-metal case with a two-tone rose gold and steel bracelet, silver dial, quartz movement, 30m water resistance. It's worth being clear-eyed that the moonphase complication itself is identical in mechanism to the steel quartz versions earlier in this lineup; what you're paying the premium for is the gold case and bracelet, not extra complexity under the dial. On my materials axis that's a legitimate trade to make, but don't buy this one expecting a more sophisticated movement than its steel siblings — that's not where the money goes.
