The DolceVita is a classic rectangular timepiece that marries elegance with simplicity. Its refined design features Roman numerals and a contemporary movement for a timeless appeal.
Blued Roman numerals on a silvered dial is a finishing detail I don't see often in this catalogue, and it's the kind of touch that photographs flat but reads beautifully in person under changing light. This is also one of the rarer automatic DolceVita references I've logged — most of the line runs quartz for the rectangular-movement problem, so an automatic calibre here is a deliberate mechanical statement. The date window is a practical addition the pure small-seconds pieces skip. Thirty metres of water resistance and black leather keep this squarely in dress-watch territory.
